The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 68-49 in the second round of Sub-Districts at home on Tuesday night.
The Warriors got off to a great start, as they scored the first 25 points of the game, and led 29-7 after one quarter. Trevor Kasischke hit three treys and had 14 first quarter points.
Wahoo extended the lead to 43-18 at halftime, and the lead grew to 64-27 in the third quarter, before reserves finished the game up.
Trevor Kasischke led Wahoo with 22 points on 5-8 shooting from behind the arc to go with 4 steals. Myles Simon had 7 boards and 4 assists. Triston Keeney had 5 assists.
Wahoo forced 26 Neumann turnovers compared to just 13 for Wahoo. Wahoo was 11-27 from behind the arc.
Wahoo improves to 17-6 and will face North Bend tomorrow night in Wahoo in the Sub-District Final. Bishop Neumann ends it’s season at 7-17.
