The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Seward Bluejays 82-47 on Monday night, in the first day of the Holiday Tournament at Wahoo.

The Warriors jumped out to an 8-0 lead behind all 8 points from Trevor Kasischke, and led 17-7 after one quarter.

Wahoo extended the lead to 39-20 at the break, and led 62-35 after three quarters.

Trevor Kasischke led the Warriors with 21 points on 3-4 shooting from behind the arc, to go with 7 rebounds and 5 assists. Marcus Glock added 16 points on 6-10 shooting from the field. Owen Hancock had 13 points and 4 assists. Garrett Grandgenett added 10 points and 5 boards. Triston Keeney added 5 assists.

Wahoo out rebounded Seward 30-20, and forced 23 Bluejay turnovers compared to 10 for Wahoo.

Wahoo improves to 6-1, and will now face Elkhorn North on Wednesday in the second day of the Holiday Tournament.
