The Wahoo Warriors went on the road on Friday night to Wayne and came home with a 72-43 win.

The Warriors jumped out to leads of 8-0 and 11-2, and led 22-8 at the end of the first quarter.

A big second quarter put Wahoo up 37-12 at halftime.

Trevor Kasischke led four Warriors in double figures with 20 points on 7-10 shooting from the field, to go with 6 boards, 4 steals, and 4 assists. Owen Hancock added 17 points on 3-6 shooting from behind the arc to go with 5 boards. Myles Simon had 14 points on 7-7 shooting from the field and 5 steals. Marcus Glock added 13 points. Triston Keeney had 8 assists and 5 steals.

The Warriors forced 32 Blue Devil turnovers, while committing just 10 themselves.

The Warriors improved to 3-1 and will host Nebraska City on Thursday. Wayne drops to 3-1.
