The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Blair Bears 56-40 on Tuesday night in Wahoo.

Blair jumped out to a 6-0 to start the game. Wahoo responded with a 12-1 run, capped by a Myles Simon jumper to lead 12-7 after one quarter.

After a Bear trey that cut the lead to 12-10, Wahoo would take control. A Garrett Grandgenett bucket made it 21-12. A Blair field goal cut the lead to 21-14, but Wahoo would outscore the Bears 11-0 the rest of the half, that ended with a Marcus Glock trey at the buzzer to go to halftime with a 32-14 lead.

Blair would chip away at the Warrior lead in the third quarter, and they cut the lead to nine at 44-35 entering the fourth quarter.

A Garrett Grandgenett bucket and a Myles Simon bucket pushed the lead back to 13 at 48-35 early in the fourth, and the Warriors were not threatened the rest of the way.

Benji Nelson and Marcus Glock led the Warriors with 12 points a piece. Garrett Grandgenett added 10 points and 7 boards. Kamron Kasischke had 9 points on 4-5 shooting from the field and 9 boards.

Wahoo shot 23-44 (52.3%) from the field while holding Blair to 13-45 (28.9%) shooting from the field. Wahoo outrebounded Blair 36-19.

Wahoo improves to 10-1, while Blair falls to 6-5. The Warriors will host Platteview on Friday night.
