The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 70-34 on Thursday night in Wahoo in the Sub-District Final.

Neumann scored the first basket of the game to go up 2-0, but the Warriors responded with an 11-0 run. The score was 13-8 with three minutes to go in the quarter, but two treys from Owen Hancock sandwiched around a Myles Simon free throw, put Wahoo up 20-8 after one quarter.

Wahoo was up 22-11, early in the quarter, but a 9-0 run pushed the lead to 31-11. The Warriors went to the halftime break up 42-16. Wahoo would extend the lead to 63-22 after three quarters.

Marcus Glock led the Warriors with 16 points on 7-11 shooting from the field to go with 7 boards and 3 steals. Anthony Simon had 13 points on 4-5 shooting from the field. Owen Hancock had 10 points on 2-3 shooting from behind the arc. Myles Simon had 5 assists and 4 boards.

Wahoo outrebounded Neumann 25-15. The Warriors were 10-22 (45.5%) from behind the arc. Neumann was 15-39 (38.5%) from the field.

Wahoo improves to 22-2 and will face Clarkson-Leigh in the District Final tomorrow at 3:00 at home. Neumann ends it’s season at 7-16.
