The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Norris Titans 59-53 Friday night in Wahoo in the regular season finale for both teams.

Norris scored the first 5 points of the game, and led 13-9 at half. Norris was still up 24-21 with a minute to play in the half, when Kamron Kasischke scored on a lay up, and moments later, Benji Nelson hit a trey to put Wahoo up 26-24 at half.

After Norris tied it at 26 to open the third, the Warriors went on a 10-2 capped by a Benji Nelson trey to put Wahoo up 36-28. Norris then went on a 9-0 run to take a 37-36 lead. Marcus Glock responed with a trey to put Wahoo p 39-37. Following a Titan bucket, Kamron Kasischke hit a trey to put Wahoo up 42-39 at the end of three.

A Marcus Glock bucket to open the fourth, followed by a Myles Simon free throw and lay up, put Wahoo up 47-39. An Owen Hancock put back kept the lead at 8, at 49-41. Norris cut the lead to 49-46 with 2:45 left. Two Owen Hancock free throws made it 51-46 with 2:30 left. Following a Titan basket, that made it 51-48, another Owen Hancock putback made it 53-48, with 1:45 left. A Titan trey cut the lead to 53-51, with 1:20 left. A Marcus Glock lay up gave the Warriors a 4 point lead at 55-51. Two Myles Simon free throws made it 57-51 with 35 seconds left, and the Warriors would hang on for the 59-53 win.

Owen Hancock had 13 points and 6 boards. Marcus Glock had 13 points on 3-5 shooting from behind the arc and 4 assists. Myles Simon scored 13 points on 7-8 shooting from the line, and had 7 rebounds. Benji Nelson had 13 points on 2-3 shooting from behind the arc. Garrett Grandgenett had 6 rebounds.

The Warriors outrebounded the Titans 31-21.

Wahoo improves to 20-2, while Norris falls to 8-14. Wahoo will face Arlington at home on Tuesday night in the first round of sub-district action.
