The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Seward Bluejays in the finals of the Holiday Tourney at Bishop Neumann, 64-31.

Wahoo led 17-6 after one quarter of play. The Warriors stretched the lead to 33-14 late in the second quarter. A Seward trey at the buzzer cut the halftime lead to 33-17. Wahoo extended the lead to 51-26 after three quarters.

Myles Simon led Wahoo with 15 points on 5-5 shooting from the field and the free throw line, to go with 5 assists and 4 boards. Marcus Glock added 10 points. Owen Hancock had 9 points and 7 assists. Kamron Kasischke had 8 points, and Anthony Simon added 8 points and 5 boards.

The Warriors were 22-41 from the field, (53.7%), compared to Seward’s 10-38 (26.3%) from the field. Wahoo outrebounded Seward 30-18.

Wahoo improves to 6-1, while Seward drops to 4-5. Wahoo will host Yutan on Thursday night.
