The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Blair Bears 52-38 on Tuesday night in Blair.

The Warriors got off to a slow start, as Blair jumped ahead 10-2 to start the game. Wahoo cut the lead to 12-9 after one quarter. In the second quarter, Wahoo outscored the Bears 13-6 to take a 22-18 lead into the halftime break.

The Warriors scored the first five points of the second half, on a Benji Nelson trey and a Marcus Glock bucket to push the lead to 27-18. The Bears battled back to cut the lead to 32-28 after three quarters. Wahoo pushed the lead to 11 at 46-35, after 6 straight Marcus Glock points, and the Warriors were able to hold on to the 52-38 win.

Marcus Glock led three Warriors in double figures with 15 points and 8 boards. Benji Nelson scored 14 points to go with 6 boards and 5 steals. Anthony Simon had 13 points to with 6 boards. Kamron Kasischke had 5 steals.

The Warriors were just 2-17 (11.8%) from behind the arc, but out rebounded the Bears 27-21 and forced 20 Blair turnovers to just 15 for us.

Wahoo improves to 9-1 while Blair falls to 6-6. Wahoo travels to Platteview on Friday night.
