The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Bishop Neumann Cavaliers 71-28 in Sub-District action on Tuesday night in Wahoo.

The Warriors led 22-5 after one quarter of play and stretched the lead to 40-12 by halftime.

Anthony Simon led the Warriors with 14 points on 2-3 shooting from behind the arc to go with 4 assists. Benji Nelson had 10 points on 4-5 shooting from the field to go with 6 boards. Marcus Glock added 10 points. Owen Hancock added 7 points, 7 boards, and 5 assists. Garrett Grandgenett had a team high 7 boards.

The Warriors outrebounded the Cavaliers 36-19, and committed just 6 turnovers, while forcing 15 Cavalier turovers.

Wahoo improves to 22-1 and will host Ashland-Greenwood in the Sub-District Final on Thursday night. Bishop Neumann ends it’s season at 13-11.
