The Wahoo Warriors punched their ticket to State by defeating the St. Paul Wildcats 79-15 on Tuesday night in Wahoo.
The Warriors led 19-5 after one quarter and led 44-10 at halftime. Reserves played almost all of the second half.
Marcus Glock, Anthony Simon, and Keegan Brigham all paced the Warriors with 11 points. Anthony Simon led Wahoo with 5 boards. Garrett Grandgenett had 6 steals, and Owen Hancock had 5 assists.
The Warriors shot 60.8% (31-51) from the field while St. Paul shot 16.2% (6-37). Wahoo forced 25 St Paul turnovers while committing just 7 themselves.
Wahoo improves to 24-1 and advances to next week’s State Tournament where they will face Auburn. St. Paul ends their season at 10-12.
