The Wahoo Warriors defeated the Yutan Chieftains 78-33 on Saturday afternoon in Yutan.

The Cheiftains jumped out to a 10-4 lead in the first quarter. Back to back baskets from Benji Nelson and a trey from Marcus Glock gave Wahoo a 12-10 lead. The quarter ended with Wahoo up 13-10.

The Warriors increased the lead to 16 by halftime at 31-15, and led 55-26 going into the fourth quarter.

Marcus Glock led the Warriors with 18 points on 4-5 shooting from behind the arc, to go with 5 boards. Anthony Simon scored 11 points, to go with 8 boards, 7 steals, and 7 assists. Benji Nelson had 11 points.

The Warriors were 11-22 (50.0%) from behind the arc, and outrebounded the Cheiftains 33-15. The Warriors also forced 24 Yutan turnovers.

Wahoo improves to 7-1, and will travel to Lincoln Lutheran on Tuesday night. Yutan falls to 5-2.
