In the 1990's I was teaching at Wahoo High School in Wahoo, Nebraska and f I produced videos of student life and activities. For several years this resulted in a "Year in Video" and there was a "Warrior Video" shown to the student body each week. This was the beginning of the digital age and the computer was used to produce some rather crude (by today's standards) graphics. But most of the editing at that time was done by transcribing a video segment from one vhs recorder to another. Eventually this gave way to actually digitizing clips and then putting them together. But even then there were limitations based on storage capacity and the file sizes that the video editing programs could handle -- we were barely into the use of hard drives. I've kept most of those video tapes, but am ready to start disposing of them. Before I do, I'm going to post some of them here for posterity -- how many is hard to say. |
