Arlington: 10 ... 21 ... 15 ... 23 .... 69
Mike Hancock blistered the Arlington nets for 7 of 11 three point attempts, hitting five in the second quarter and scored 34 points as Wahoo registered a 90 - 69 win over Arlington. Unlike Wahoo’s first two opponents, the Eagles hung with the Warriors for the first half of the contest, trailing by only 13. But Wahoo put the game out of reach in the third period as Hancock scored 9 and Greg Hain contributed 7 points to make the Warrior lead 24. Although pleased by the win, Coach Anderson lamented the defensive effort, declaring that “We just can’t afford to give up 69 points per game.” A significant portion of those points came from Arlington’s three point production as the Eagles matched the Warriors with 10 treys in the game. Hain (21), Mike Simons (12) and Travis Toline (12) were also in double figures for the Warriors.
