Wahoo downed Lincoln High 84 - 53 in the sem-final game of the consolation bracket of the Prep Holiday Classic. The game was never in doubt as the Warriors treated the Class A team much as they had treated their Class B opponents -- they jumped off to an early lead and never let up. Wahoo began with a 16 - 1 spurt and behind Greg Hain’s nine first quarter points, claimed a 24 - 7 lead. The Links were forced into 15 first half turnovers and Wahoo claimed a 28 point lead at intermission. Coach Anderson believed his team played “relaxed” noting that “We came out focused and ready to play.” Hain led the Warriors with 23 points while Mike Hancock netted 19, Josh Anderson 16, and Travis Toline 12.
