"Squeeze me, squeeze me all through the night."

"Do You Wanna Dance" was Bobby Freeman's first hit record. He wrote the song and played piano on the recording. Bobby put on a great stage show and the repeated refrain of "Do you, do you, do you do you wanna dance" was powerful music to dance to. The song entered the top 40 in May of 1958 and would eventually rise to the #5 position. The Beach Boys would again put the song on the charts (#12) in 1965 and Bette Midler would take it to #17 in 1973. Bobby Freeman would have another top 10 hit in 1964, another dance number, "C'mon and Swim."
