Wahoo vs Lincoln Lutheran

The Wahoo Warriors pulled away in the third quarter to clinch a 65–50 victory over Lincoln Lutheran in a closely contested matchup. The game remained competitive for the first half, but Wahoo's strong shooting from both the three-point line and the free throw line ultimately made the difference.

Wahoo started the game with an early 8-2 lead, thanks to a drive by Cody Hesser off a pass from Kip Brigham. The two seniors reversed roles at the end of the first quarter when Brigham scored at the buzzer on a pass from Hesser, to go ahead 13-11. During the second period, Wahoo connected on four three-pointers. Landon Glock made one, Cody Hesser hit two, and Griffen Hancock sank another with 1:23 left in the half, giving Wahoo its largest lead of the half at 29–19.

The third period saw Wahoo extend their lead, highlighted by a pair of three-pointers from Glock. The Warriors built their biggest lead of the night at 39–23. Despite a spirited effort from Lutheran in the fourth quarter, they were unable to cut the deficit to less than ten points.

In the fourth quarter, Wahoo excelled at the free throw line, converting 13 out of 14 attempts to maintain their advantage. Coach T.J. O’Connor commented, “I was very impressed with our kids’ composure when they (Lincoln Lutheran) hit shots to keep them in the game.” Cody Hesser led the team with 23 points, marking the seventh time this season he has been the leading scorer. Kip Brigham achieved a career-high with 14 points, and Landon Glock contributed 12 points. Jeremy Simmons and Trent Ernst were the top scorers for Wahoo, with 23 and 11 points respectively.

The victory marked Wahoo's fourth consecutive win, improving their season record to 7–3. Lincoln Lutheran's record fell to 6–6 after the loss.
